Joyce Westerdahl


The next speaker will be Joyce Westerdahl, she will start at 11am. She is an Executive Vice President, a Human Recourses at Oracle. She joined Oracle in 1990 and since has held multiple positions in both line and corporate HR. She is leading Oracle HR's cloud transformation to ensure that business leaders and more than 135,000 employees to achieve Oracle's mission. She took over the HR department in 2000 and since has been implementing a road map of progressive HR modernization initiatives intended to keep Oracle at the leading edge of technology innovation. She continues to transform HR by leveraging Oracle HCM Cloud technology to provide better visibility, utilization, and development of the company's talent pool.
Joyce is also very passionate about sharing the best practices and frequently speaks with customers and partners about Oracle HR's journey and the result that continues to transform the HR organization. She is also very active in her community being an executive director for the Oracle Women's Leadership program, as well as more than 15 years as a mentor for young women and contributes her time to helping students with school.

The final speaker of the day will be Mia Parker and it will take place at 2pm. she is a management and program analyst for the FBI or Federal Bureau of Investigation. She joined the FBI as a inter between her junior and senior years in college, and hasn't looked back since, she is a very creative, driven person, that also likes that her position offers flexibility to find deficiencies and then implement solutions.
